Position summary
The DM Roads business provides a range of services in road network management. We assist road and intelligent transport systems (ITS) asset owners to extract maximum value from their assets and provide road networks that meet the demand of today's ever-changing environment. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 33,000 km of road.

We currently have a full-time permanent position available for a Road Renewals Inspector to join our team based in Walkley Heights, SA. The primary focus of the role is to undertake inspections and ensure compliance of Pavement and Line marking renewals across Metro Adelaide and Regional SA to ensure services delivered meet the required specifications. The role will be primarily metro based but will involve some travel away to rural areas.


  • Sound knowledge and extensive experience in road maintenance and construction industry, including resurfacing treatments
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the application of DIT specifications (roads)
  • Ability to efficiently utilise computer-based asset management software and to learn in-house systems and databases
  • Customer focused attitude with strong understanding of quality processes and reporting
  • Ability to utilise excel to report and undertake analysis of data
  • Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills
  • A strong commitment to a Zero Harm culture

  • Ability to work away from home when required
