About The Position

The Service Coordinator will provide support to the DCS Manager by coordinating efficiency in service provision for clients. This role demands high level attention to detail in ensuring compliance with the requirements of the funding body(s) including NDIS standard guidelines and ensuring effective integration with broader Centacare strategies, policies and practices as required.

The Key Duties In This Role Will Include

• Support and mentor Home Care Workers and help enable safe and consistent service delivery
• Support the DCS Manager to report on directed responsibilities and activities ensuring business risk is minimised and ensuring compliance

Whilst not essential, a degree in information technology, engineering or a similar discipline an ITIL Foundation Certification will be an advantage.

The position

• Work with site team to drive operation of resource recovery plant, safely and efficiently
• Operate excavator, wheel loader and other equipment as needed to maintain operational activities
• Undertake equipment cleaning and maintenance within agreed scope
• Monitor KPIs for efficiency and quality to ensure effective running of equipment

Your skills and experience

• Earthmoving equipment operator with a minimum 5 years' experience (Wheel loader and excavator minimum)
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with conveyor, trommel, shredder experience preferred
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong focus on safe work practices and adherence to policies and procedures
• Drivers' licence
